The file was too big it seems
Can you attach your xorg log? What versions of the ddx, mesa, and the drm are you using? What does glxinfo -l|grep GL_MAX_TEXTURE_SIZE say? I'm away from home right now. I'll check this when I am back and have access to that computer again Have you had access to that computer again any time in the last two years? :) Yes, I did, and I did some retesting of the r200 driver a few days ago(See bug 27069, where I complained about performance 2 years ago and still complain about performance today). This specific problem seems to be gone. I can see no problems on the 2D Desktop, and tuxracer / etracer work just fine. I think the max texture size the driver reported was 2048 for normal textures and 256 for volume maps. (The ultimate goal of warming up the r200 machine again was to get the Wine unit tests working, but there are too many issues and I think there are better ways to invest the time) |
