When changing level in xmoto (0.5.0) the game crached and I received the following error:

Mesa 7.4 implementation error: Unable to delete texture, no context
Please report at bugzilla.freedesktop.org
fatal exception : invalid or missing texture file (Textures/Anims/mushrooms_525.png)

uname -a says

This may already be fixed in Git mesa_7_4_branch, see bug 21791.

However, I suspect this is the real reason why xmoto crashes / aborts.
