Note that the DnD is done in Empathy, that result in butterfly in handles moved from one contact list channel to another. It works with gabble and not with butterfly, so I guess there is something wrong in butterfly... This is a strange thing, since empathy knows how to move contacts in butterfly: right click on contact, edit then it opens a window in which you can change groups. The drag&drop should work without adding anything to butterfly almost fixed in butterfly git master, BUT the default action is to copy a contact, instead of moving it from a group to another. (In reply to comment #3) > almost fixed in butterfly git master, BUT the default action is to copy a > contact, instead of moving it from a group to another. At that point, it becomes UI policy, not a CM bug. Yes, you are right, sorry I didn't pay much attention. But now the edit contact information window does no more work if you want to edit groups. do I need to open a separate bug? Sorry just arrived another commit which fixed this! Bye Changing resolution to FIXED, since it was fixed in Butterfly master, and will be in 0.3.4. (Jonny, correct me if I'm wrong?) Nicolò, you can move a contact by pressing shift will dropping. But like Will said it's really up to empathy, you should open a bug there if you want to see it changed. Will, yes this is fixed. 0.3.4 should be a released soon. |
