Rather unusual that this is happening under ShadowFB. Can you enable EXA acceleration and see if it occurs there? Add Option "DRI" Option "AccelMethod" "EXA" to the Device section of your xorg.conf When I enabled the EXA acceleration the bug does not occur anymore. This may be similar to http://www.phoronix.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17680 Can you try Option "UnverifiedFeatures" "Off" I have a similar problem, but on another platform: Architecture: intel x86-32 Video: Intel GM965/GL960 It is really difficult to take a screenshot! Sometimes such black regions appears on screen
Does this issue occur with the preferred ati driver (xf86-vide-ati)? If so, please move this to the Driver/Radeon component. Development of radeonhd has pretty much halted and development focus is on the ati driver. Please see http://www.x.org/wiki/radeonhd If the issue does not exist in the ati driver (or if there is no response to this message), this bug will be closed as WONTFIX unless someone contributes a patch. Closing due to lack of response. Please reopen and move to the Driver/Radeon component if this issue persists with xf86-video-ati |
