Xorg log when the kernel doesn't panic

Using the nouveau.ko, drm.ko, and ttm.ko from nouveau/linux-2.6. KMS sets a nice console framebuffer, but when it comes to starting X it dies with just a black screen.

There might actually be multiple bugs here:
1) Sometimes, there's a pointer visible, sometimes there isn't
2) Sometimes the kernel panics and everything dies, sometimes (particularly with drm loaded with debug=1 it seems) sshing in will work

This seems to be fixed. I tried nouveau.modeset=1 today with drm module & DDX from 2009/07/30.

Closing.
