with todays latest code (mesa/ddx/drm/linus), cairo-dock -o still crashes my hw without even a kernel error! anyone else seeing this behaviour? Could you please provide additional information? In particular, can you provide a backtrace? Can you be more precise as to what "crashes my hardware" means? (In reply to comment #2) > Could you please provide additional information? In particular, can you provide > a backtrace? Can you be more precise as to what "crashes my hardware" means? > I cant, didnt provide a backtrace, because what i mean with "crashes my hardware" is exactly that. when i call cairo-dock -o, the entire machine stalls, i cant go to a tty, i cant use sysrq keys, the system just dies with a black sc screen. no syslog error or messages error, no nothing when i reboot. if you have any idea to get more info, i can try it. best regards with latest kernel 2.6.32-rc* and mesa/ddx/drm, cairo doesnt crash radeon anymore, changing this to fixed, great work. |
