On OpenSuse 11.1, with the following versions (which as far as I can tell correspond to upstream 0.8.4):

libswfdec-gtk2-0_8-0-0.8.4-0.pm.1
swfdec-gnome-2.24.0-1.39
swfdec-mozilla-0.8.2-1.24
swfdec-gnome-lang-2.24.0-1.39
libswfdec-0_8-0-0.8.4-0.pm.1

the Github network applet does not work; it is completely white.  See for example the URL above.  There is a screenshot of how it's supposed to look at http://github.com/blog/39-say-hello-to-the-network-graph-visualizer .
