After recent (28.9.2009) upgrade in debian sid I lost my X.
motherboard Intel DP45SG
Graphic card ATI Radeon X1650 XT
I tried fix it by adding this to my xorg.conf:

Section "Device"
        Identifier      "ATI Technologies Inc RC410 [Radeon Xpress 200]"
        Driver          "ati"
        BusID           "PCI:01:00:0"
EndSection
------------
Also I changed "Driver" field to "radeon" and "vesa" without success.

Are you still having this issue?  Please work with your distro to resolve it.
