Created attachment 30367 [details] [review] the developer overloards typically want logged evidence I tested the exact same setup with 2.6.32-rc3-git1 and the problem went away. Evidence indicates KMS very bad in the 2.6.32-rc3-git3 kernel. Kernel changelog does not appear to have any radeon fixes between that version and sys-kernel/git-sources-2.6.32_rc4-r2, problem likely present in latest kernel. Will buy latest and test if problem still there. Looks like a dup of bug 24430. Should be fixed in drm-next. 2.6.32-rc4-git2 has same bug, patching it with the 49c458e544ae14514209ed80ea6829ca1b18ddf0 reversion fixed it. |
