currently the support for LVM is very limited to not existent. (this probably also needs a separate bug report against g-d-u)
E.g. it's not possible to create or manipulate PVs, VGs or LVs
Existing LVs are shown as separate hard disks instead of being a part/child of an VG.

Yes, we want this. The DeviceKit-disks bits are tracked in bug 24599 so closing this as a duplicate since bug 24599 has a bit more information. We probably want a Palimpsest bug at b.g.o too, I'll open that when I start working on this. Thanks.
