Description Andy Furniss 2009-10-23 07:06:24 UTC
RV670 AGP card running gits drm-next,ddx and mesa.

Repeated running of the mesa demo gloss sometimes produces rendering errors as attached. The corruption is always the same. How many runs is quite variable.

Corruption happens with kms agp and pcie gart.

I haven't managed to produce in ums or sw, but because it may take many runs and possibly a bit of browsing in between I can't be 100% sure it's just kms.

Reseting mesa git to 5e77b61e393144e76fe0a280c3c5da2d36703bbb makes the likelyhood of corruption very small (I also notice I get 320fps vs 960fps with master).

Due to the time taken to reproduce it's going to be quite hard to find a guilty commit easily, though over time, if I have time I'll try.

Perhaps someone with a PCIE card could try to reproduce - it seems easier with current master to trigger it.
