Description Emil Velikov 2009-11-03 16:26:29 UTC
After I updated my nouveau module today I noticed that the mouse cursor only appears on the screen for a second or two, right before the GDM login screen. Upon login and later it never shows up again.
After a little search I found the commit thats "breaking" the cursor. http://cgit.freedesktop.org/nouveau/linux-2.6/commit/?id=41a652f511eace6094ae6d4ec5db9da24944cbcf
I'm using a Ubuntu 9.10 ( default repos - xserver 1.6.4) on a Nvidia GT120M (NV96)

The offending commit has been reverted a couple of days after this report. The system is up and running correctly as it should be.
