Im getting a GPU lockup during boot when using latest git module built into the kernel with drm-next and drm.git, with latest ddx driver. The card is a G80 (nv50) 8800 GTS 640mb ram. Ive attached complete dmesg, nvclock -i.

Here lockup comes from nv50_fbcon_imageblit() from within "while (dwords)" loop

My 8800 actually died last month, so sorry cant answer that.

No. Have been using nouaveufb for quite a time.
For the record 2.6.38-rc7 is OK, and earlier.
