Description Rich Birch 2005-02-11 11:59:30 UTC
Hi

I'm wondering if there's a good reason why the black&white checkerboard
background is default while x is starting up? I reported this to gentoo, who
then assigned it to the kde team. But could you guys not make the default black
or something else that's inoffensive?

(I'm sorry I didn't know which component this should go under)

pass the -br option to the server at startup.

this has been debated on the mailing list several times, the decision has always been to leave it in
because setting it black would prevent some monitors from syncing.
