Looks like it might be a texture tiling problem. If so, you can work around it for now by disabling texture tiling in driconf, at the expense of performance in general. More info at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/stellarium/+bug/426417 It may be of interest that I do only see half the corruptions here. The menus along the borders are fine. The dialog boxes that can be opened via those windows (e.g. "Location Window" (F6)) are corrupted exactly like those in Sam Morris's screenshot.
