There is a bug that has been present in the Radeon driver for some time now, and it involves resuming from hybernation. When resuming the screen is all messed up, some fonts are not rendered, some graphics elements are missing, etc. This has been the case for at least a couple of years now. Attached to this report is a screenshot taken from my main laptop. I'm running Fedora 12 and the latest available ati driver (xorg-x11-drv-ati-6.13.0-0.20.20091221git4b05c47ac.fc12).

I've seen this bug in two different GPUs so far: RS480M and RS690M, both in i686 and x86_64 builds.

If you are using kms, please try the latest drm code:
