intel_gpu_dump output
Taken on Ubuntu kernel 2.6.31-17-generic.
On 2.6.33-rc6, a mode switch occurs, but I'm left at a black screen. I guess the graphics chip reset occurs and it gets unfrozen, but the state is too messed up at this point to be usable. Also still a problem on Lucid + xorg-edgers PPA + kernel 2.6.33-rc6. My System does not crash completely, it will crash if I try to go to console or if the screen saver runs; besides neither totem or vlc work any more. System Description: -Version- Kernel : Linux 2.6.35-libre2 (i686) Compiled : #1 SMP Sat Sep 25 15:32:50 EDT 2010 C Library : GNU C Library version 2.11.2 (stable) Default C Compiler : GNU C Compiler version 4.4.5 20100728 (prerelease) (Debian 4.4.4-8) Distribution : Debian GNU/Linux squeeze/sid This issue is affecting a hardware component which is not being actively worked on anymore. Moving the assignee to the dri-devel list as contact, to give this issue a better coverage. Brian Rogers, Ubuntu Lucid Desktop reached EOL on May 9, 2013.
