Hi, please can gobject get removed from papyon. The dependency on gobject is silly because papyon is coded in python and on other systems (mac os x, windows) we have to bring in the glib which can be avoided. In python there's much better things to use.

This would mean stuff like amsn2 could have a mac version without gobject at all! This would make the download smaller and help make papyon the best msn library ever!

Please take this into account because I think it's an amazing idea :D

papyon heavily rely on gobject (signals, network I/O...) so I don't think it's realistic to change that. That would require a lot of work. We could still evaluate this option if you find someone up to it.

What's wrong with gobject on Mac? The gobject library is available on OS X.

This is rather unrealistic. If you have something new to add to this bug (that includes patches) feel free to add it.
