Definitely reproducible here. He wept, and it wasn't due to laughing hard. Confirmed by Jesus' brother Craig also. Summary: * XAA sucks. Aim: * 100% less suck. Steps towards progress: * Remove XAA. Optional steps: * Print out XAA source. * Set fire to XAA source. Contra-XAA joke: * It's a joke in itself. Remember, every time you try to add render acceleration to an xaa driver, the baby jesus cries. Think of the baby jesuses. (I should assign this one to you, ajax) wasn't planning on it. my fingers can't take the abuse of typing XAASetupForCPU... anymore. see also: http://xorg.freedesktop.org/wiki/Shiny http://xorg.freedesktop.org/wiki/LinuxTagMeetingZack unfortunately, we have no WELOVEZACK resolution status. there comes a time in every baby jesus' life when it has to learn to write exa support for undocumented hardware. that time is now. |
