It appears that this bug report has laid dormant for quite a while. Sorry we haven't gotten to it. Since we fix bugs all the time, chances are pretty good that your issue has been fixed with the latest software. Please give it a shot. (Linux kernel 3.10.7, xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.9, mesa 9.1.6, or their git versions.) If upgrading to the latest isn't an option for you, your distro's bugzilla is probably the right destination for your bug report. Created attachment 34271 [details] Screenshot of x-video corruption I've found this most apparent during DVD playback. In particular, I've used Fight Club for testing. I'm currently running Kubuntu Lucid Lynx w/ a 2.6.33 kernel I've tried this on a: GeForce DDR Geforce 7000m GeForce 8800GTS and I get the same issues. Artifacts during playback. I've included a screenshot that shows exactly what I'm talking about... it is an illusive issue, but I manage to catch it on a screen capture, which I have included. I've circled the corruption in neon green.
