Description Fabio Coatti 2010-04-27 08:52:09 UTC
I'm seeing a weird behaviour since I started to use radeon driver on my laptop.
Basically xscreeensaver freezes always on the same hack, forcing me to reboot the box.
In no other situation I can get xorg to freeze and with fglrx as driver this never happened.

system details:
xorg-server-1.8.0
Linux 2.6.33.3 #1 SMP PREEMPT
gcc (Gentoo 4.4.3-r2 p1.2) 4.4.3
mesa-7.8.1
xf86-video-ati-6.13.0

xorg log is attached.

the xscreensaver hack that causes the freeze is julia, that is not 3D, afaik.

Le me know how I can get more useful data; the freeze is repeatable at will.

man thanks for any answer.
