Graphics starts fine, but if I switch to text terminal (Ctrl-Alt F1) and back (Alt-F9) graphics comes back blank. After I kill and restart xorg its starts up fine again.

Presuming fixed in recent FreeBSD with KMS support.

KMS support has been merged into FreeBSD 9.1.
But now it is still impossible to switch to the black terminal.
When I try switching it first does, but xorg restarts right away killing the previous xorg session. And I couldn't locate any error messages in xorg log.

As far as I know, VT switching with KMS on FreeBSD is currently not working, this is a known issue in FreeBSD, and not related to xorg.  This bug can probably be closed.

I.e. you need to file this  as a bug in the FreeBSD kernel bugtracker, we don't write that code. So maybe better to tag this as not our bug.
