Hello guys,

I use your nouveau (git of 13.03.2010) driver on my ArchLinux system.

When I boot my PC first time a day, it works just all fine. KMS switches to my preferred screen resolution of 1280x1024@85Hz.
But after a quick reboot, the output on my screen is cut on the left side. My Monitor tells me it's running on 1024x1024@92Hz but the OS is telling me it runs at 1024x1024@85Hz. I can't set it to 85Hz, because it says me it's running at 85Hz.

dmesg report of the "cold" system. 
This is the result when the system starts normal and has the right refresh rate of 85Hz.

This is the result of dmesg on "warm" state (after a reboot), when the refresh rate is 92Hz and the screen output doesn't match the screen right.

In this line is the only difference between those two files:

[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: allocated 1280x1024 fb: 0x49000, bo dfaadc00
[drm] nouveau 0000:01:00.0: allocated 1280x1024 fb: 0x49000, bo ded91c00

Xorg.0.log has no differences between "cold" and "warm" state.

It appears that this bug report has laid dormant for quite a while. Sorry we haven't gotten to it. Since we fix bugs all the time, chances are pretty good that your issue has been fixed with the latest software. Please give it a shot. (Linux kernel 3.10.7, xf86-video-nouveau 1.0.9, mesa 9.1.6, or their git versions.) If upgrading to the latest isn't an option for you, your distro's bugzilla is probably the right destination for your bug report.
