libtool doesn't support parallel make installs. Please file a bug upstream.

I have failed to find any place where it's stated that libtool doesn't support parallel make installs, could you please point me to it? It would be interesting since we default to run installs in parallel and, then, would be nice to have that information for explaining the change

I have asked libtool upstream and looks like it's supported:
