when setting up a dual screen configurtion (one screen on top of the other one)
even if the desktop topology looks ok (rotating the cube rotates a desktop of the expected size and configuration), the laptop screen shows the contents from 0,0 to 1280,800 instad of from 0,1050 to 1280,1850.

what feels odd is that the mouse position is not reflected in both displays. ie. if im working on the external VGA screen, the mose is only drawn there, and if i work on the LVDS screen, its there.

the error is quite difficult to explain.


gnome-display-properties shows the screen positions correctly.

if there is any extra info needed, please say so.

taking a screenshot behaves as if everything worked as expected (doesnt show the error in the sreenshot)

mouse clicks on the broken display behave as if they where done in the hidden area of the desktop.

Isn't this the expected behavior for this extended desktop usage:

yes, thats the expected behaviour for the mouse, yet the screen contets are from the first screen. thats what feels odd, Not the mouse behaviour. I was trying to describe the bug more thoroughly.
