MC is duplicating my IM accounts! For example, I have 4 instances of my Collabora account:

That's recent so I guess that appeared when I upgraded to MC  5.5.2

I don't get this duplication with 5.5.2. Can you get a debug log for a run in which new accounts appear? (Send it to me privately if necessary.)

This bug was actually in Empathy's MC4 import code which is about to be removed:
