What version of mesa are you using? mesa 7.8.2, xorg-server 1.8.1.902 Does mesa from git master work any better? Ok, I've installed mesa from git, and, oddly, now the backtrace doesn't show function names in r600_dri.so... but obviously the fact I'm getting a backtrace again means I'm still hitting the problem. :-) KDE devs recommended turning down my "Texture filter" from trilinear to bilinear, and I've not got any crashes since. Hopefully that helps narrow down the problem? Note: classic r600 driver has been abandoned. Please use r600g (gallium driver) instead. Is this still an issue with a newer driver/kernel? The classic r600 driver has been abandoned long ago. It was replaced by the Gallium driver r600g. If you have issues with r600g please file a new bug report with component Drivers/Gallium/r600 Thanks. |
