Yes, Everson has a lot of influence on this. But it's still a proposal and I haven't seen other people's reactions on this (and not everything Michael Everson proposed was accepted :-) ). It might as well be that a new code will be assigned for this. So as long it's not clear enough what's going to happen, it's best not to change glyphs yet. Agreed. But having on open bug as a reminder seemed the best way not to
forget.
