Created attachment 39528 [details] Page with text rasterizion issue ('J' of 'Jenny Powles') Using pdftoppm version 0.14.1 on the server and also tested with pdftoppm version 0.12.4 locally, both exhibit same problem. This produces expected output: pdftoppm -r 183 -png test.pdf test But when the resolution is changed to 184, the letter 'J' from the beginning of 'Jenny Powles' disappears. Initially I tried this with 50 dpi (works) and 300 dpi (same result, missing 'J'). Curious results when the DPI is set to 51, 52 and so on. After a lot of trial and error, it seems to be between 183 and 184. I've attached the problem page.
