Description Julien "KaZe" ROZO 2005-04-22 10:34:56 UTC
Hi,

I tried to compile fontconfig 2.3.1 on PPC Linux, with xorg 6.8.2 installed. The
compilation exits with this segfault on fc-cache :

"/usr/src/fontconfig-2.3.1/fc-cache/.libs/lt-fc-cache:
"/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Type1": make[3]: Leaving directory
`/usr/src/fontconfig-2.3.1'
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/fontconfig-2.3.1'
/bin/sh: line 1: 3520 Segmentation fault fc-cache/fc-cache -f -v
make[3]: *** [install-data-local] Error 139
make[2]: *** [install-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/fontconfig-2.3.1'
make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1"

fontconfig 2.2.2 compiles flawlessly on the same machine (iBook G4, 768MB of RAM).

I'm using gcc 3.4.3 and SourceMage GNU/Linux distro.

Fontconfig 2.3.1 compiles well on an x86 machine, with same gcc version and same
distro.
