I understand cups already does that in their copy, so where are the patches? CUPS used to have a private fork of xpdf which had been modified in several ways so that it would unconditionally act as a CUPS filter. I'm not sure of the best approach for getting the needed changes upstream to make pdftops better-behaved as a CUPS filter. Obviously, unconditional changes will not be any good, so a command line option of some sort is probably the way to go. Do you think that a single option such as "--cupsfilter" would be acceptable and make sense? I'd sincerely prefer more fine grained options like --alwaysPortrait --addCupsRotation --fooBar Than just a huge "--cupsMagic". -- GitLab Migration Automatic Message -- This bug has been migrated to freedesktop.org's GitLab instance and has been closed from further activity.
