An additional source of pdf which exhibit this rendering problems is a german
newspaper:

http://www.taz.de/taz/nf/etc/digiabotest.html

It appears on almost every page with images... for example the following

http://www.taz.de/taz/nf/etc/2005_05_06_S09-aus1-02.pdf

Images are bigger than their boundary box, and some lines are way too long. Gpdf
renders this pdf just fine.
