If I switch on a tty or init 0 the console mirrored on the external display misses the last line of console output, meaning the last line with the blinking cursor is shown on my internal laptop display but not on the external display.
Display is connected via VGA.

My Hard- and Software:

- ThinkPad T60 with ATI Radeon Mobility X1400
- Debian Sid with X.Org from experimental (7.6 RC1)
- xf86-video-ati 6.13.2
- libdrm-radeon 2.4.23

Please attach files here directly rather than pasting volatile external URLs.

Your laptop panel has a vertical resolution of 1050 lines, presumably the external monitor is using a vertical resolution of 1024 lines, so the last line of text is out of its reach.

OK, next time I will attach files directly, thanks for the hint.

Does it mean, this is not fixable?
The difference of 26 lines sounds logical but, I can't remember that 
this happened with non-KMS, too.

This is expected behavior for console as we mirror and one of you monitor have a bigger resolution than the other. fbconsole are not really things we like to spend our time with ;)
