Description Donald D Henson 2005-05-16 09:09:38 UTC
when I save an OpenOffice.org document in an OpenDocument format, the file icon
goes to the generic Gnome foot icon. I can change the file icon for that
specific file but not all the files at once.

Thanks for your bug report and sorry for the late reponse!
What GNOME version are you on, and what MIME type is displayed for these files?

I was on SuSE 9.3 but have just installed SUSE 10 on a laptop and the file icons
appear to be working okay in SUSE 10. In 9.3, the mime typed is displayed as:

application/vnd.oasis.opendocument.text

Do you want me to research the other types as well?

No. Thanks for the feedback, the issue was that old icon themes don't have any
icons installed for Open Document MIME type.
