Attachments: presentation demostrates unexpected frame around star

Description Gregor 2011-01-12 03:31:55 UTC
I have a five pointed star object (created with the default star tool) with both path and spin effects. I apply the Custom animation effect Emphasis>Change Line color. When I run the presentation, the object's line does not change color but a rectangle surrounds the object on its path and rotation.

The error is in OOo too. There I see it first time in DEV300m58, DEV300m57 is OK.
Comment 2 Jeffrey 2011-06-23 02:30:15 UTC
I have tried reproducing this problem:

1. Create a star object from the polygons in the toolbar on the bottom.
2. Select Slide Show -> Custom Animation
3. Add->Emphasis->Change line color
4. Add->Emphasis->spin
5. Add->Motion Paths->Curve
6. Draw a curve on the sheet
7. Run the presentation (f5)

There does not seem to be any problem no matter how I order the animation, the Line color changes successfully with the rectangle appearing around it. Maybe this was fixed in a later release in OO? Can anyone confirm this?

Version: LibreOffice 3.4 340m1(Build:12) on OpenSuse KDE.
Comment 3 Regina Henschel 2011-06-23 03:28:41 UTC
I still see the error in LO3.4.1 on WinXP.
1. New presentation
2. Draw star from "Stars and Banner" toolbar. Set its line color to red.
3. Assign "Change LineColor" from group "Emphasis/Basic" and set color to blue.
Already preview shows the wrong behavior. Not only the line of the star gets blue, but also the whole object rectangle gets a blue border.

Corresponding OOo issue is http://openoffice.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=116435.

Comment 7 sasha.libreoffice 2012-03-23 23:51:54 UTC
Problem with unexpected frame reproduced
in 3.3.4, 3.4.3, 3.5.1 on Fedora 64 bit and Windows 7 32 bit
Changing version to 3.3.4 as most early reproducible

PS: no problem with color found, but do not forget set color for this effect after creating it
Comment 8 A (Andy) 2013-04-23 20:39:30 UTC
for me not reproducible with LO 4.0.2.2 (Win7 Home, 64bit)

Does this issue still persist for you with the latest release of LO?
Comment 9 sasha.libreoffice 2013-04-24 11:04:40 UTC
in 4.0.2 on Fedora (RFR) 64 bit works correctly
