The download pages and release notes mention the version number (eg "LibreOffice 3.3 Release Candidate 4") but do not include the release date:

http://www.libreoffice.org/download/instructions/
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/release-notes/
http://www.libreoffice.org/download/new-features-and-fixes/

In the short term, this makes it more difficult for potential testers to tell whether or not they need to update (is this a new release announcement, or the one I already downloaded two days or two months ago?).

In the longer term, when tracking down problems in older versions it can be very helpful to know when various versions were released, such as when determining what versions might need to be patched or replaced.
