Description Jean-Philippe Provost 2005-05-18 14:47:20 UTC
Hi all,

I just upgrade my Mandriva to Cooker and when i shutdown it or when i switch to
tty1, i got a white screen with symbols like ASCII. But, the system shutdown and
reboot normally.

I took some pictures of my screen with my digital camera, it looks like:

http://inazadv3.free.fr/screen1.jpg
http://inazadv3.free.fr/screen2.jpg

** More: I have do some tests to determine the source of this bug, when I
shutdown with X (xorg) it doest that, if I shutdown in tty1 (init3), works
perfectly! **

** More2: Also, i have try to change driver in Xorg conf' file, when I put nv at
least of nvidia, all works perfectly.. so the problem is with the lastest nvidia
driver (from nvidia.com) .. Version of nvidia drivers is: 1.0-7174 **

Thanks.

Regards,

Provost, JP (wibo)

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
