Description Fabian Rodriguez 2011-01-25 08:06:20 UTC
This bug is about an issue with GNU/Linux packages (RPM and DEB). Perhaps it affects other platforms but I haven't checked yet. This has also been filed in Ubuntu:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/707486

The thesaurus and hyphenation packages are missing from the LibreOffice packages:
  * libreoffice-thesaurus-*: Thesauri for the use with LibreOffice
  * libreoffice-hyphenation-*: Hyphenation patterns for LibreOffice

These are mentioned in the language packs as providing the expected functionality. I don't use this frequently, I am relaying information but I was able to confirm such packages are missing.

Can we provide those, Fridrich, or is that something best left to distro packages?
Comment 2 Fridrich Strba 2011-01-25 11:21:30 UTC
they should be part of teh corresponding language pack. It is pointless to compare distro packaging with our packaging for generic builds :)
