Description Siganderson 2011-01-30 10:05:31 UTC
Fullscreen is cropped in vlc when using GLX (XCB) output (an area like the original dimension of the window is visible while the rest is black).
Other outputs seem to work well.
Nothing relevant in the logs.

Kubuntu 10.10 (KDE 4.6, Linux 2.6.37)
Ati Radeon HD 5670 (Evergreen - Redwood)
Comment 1 Siganderson 2011-02-01 10:33:39 UTC
This happens only with Gallium (r600g), not with Classic Mesa (r600).
Comment 2 Siganderson 2011-07-13 13:02:18 UTC
the problem is still here,
kernel: 2.6.38 and 3.0 rc6
kde 4.6.4

Siganderson, Ubuntu 10.10 reached EOL on April 10, 2012. For more on this, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases .

If this is reproducible in a supported release, it will help immensely if you filed a new report with Ubuntu by ensuring you have the package xdiagnose installed, and that you click the Yes button for attaching additional debugging information running the following from a terminal:
ubuntu-bug xorg

Also, please feel free to subscribe me to it.
