p.s. sorry for the lack of keyboard skills...or spelling skills...its been a long night :) Is this a 32-bit or 64-bit CPU? 32 bit AMD Try again with libgalago SVN and galago-daemon SVN. It should related to another issue that has just been fixed. Oh, and you'll need D-BUS 0.34 or higher. This is still happening. Config as follows: Mandriva Linux 2006.1 (Cooker), AMD64 2800+, 1GB RAM * EDS 1.4.1.1-1mdk * Evolution 2.4.1-2mdk * DBus 0.50-1mdk * Gaim 1.5.0-5mdk * Gaim-Galago 0.3.2-1mdk * Galago-daemon-0.3.4-2mdk * lib64galago1-0.3.3-2mdk (64-bit devel and 32-bit packages also) * lib64galago-gtk0-0.3.4-2 (64-bit devel and 32-bit packages also) * Hal 0.5.4-1mdk * gnome-presence-applet 0.3.1-2mdk * eds-feed 0.3.2-1mdk With GAIM galago plugin disabled, no problems, but as soon as it is activated and I try to pull up preferences on the presence applet, CPU usage is maxed and several eds-feed processes are spawned (typically two or three, but it seems to spawn more over time; at one point, I had four total, with one sleeping and the other three taking approx 33% each). All packages were built from source, using the Mandriva SRPM repository, with all known dependencies satisfied, on a 64-bit system. I can probably provide more info if desired. Bugzilla Upgrade Mass Bug Change NEEDSINFO state was removed in Bugzilla 3.x, reopening any bugs previously listed as NEEDSINFO. - benjsc fd.o Wrangler |
