I poked a bit at adding a copy of the option under the "CapsLock key behavior" section, but couldn't get it to work (my xkb ignorance is likely the blame). I don't know if there is a policy regarding having the same option in multiple places. Given the quantity of options already present, I could see such a policy making this a WONTFIX. Yes, you are right - the whole stack is not designed to put one option into 2 groups. So I am marking this as WONTFIX. Or we can discuss _moving_ the option to another group - but I do not think it would be much better than current location.
Thanks, yeah suspected as much. I think arguments could be made either way whether it should be under Control or Caps Lock, but those favoring moving it doesn't seem compelling enough to justify the trouble of changing it. |
