Description Cyril Brulebois 2011-02-24 04:59:27 UTC
Linux 2.6.37
libdrm 2.4.23 + a few intel fixes from master
xserver 1.9.4
xf86-driver-intel from master

I'm having the same issues as described on Debian bug #600474, like those:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=shege3.png;att=1;bug=600474
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?msg=5;filename=shege4.png;att=2;bug=600474

I've asked the submitter to apply (on top of 2.14.0, this time, not master) the “let's double the height stuff” patch suggested on IRC, but that didn't work:
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=600474#47

I'm filing this bug so I don't forget about it, since unfortunately, I can't reproduce this bug easily.

KiBi.

No surprise, but let's mention it anyway, same issue with xserver 1.10rc2 and 1.10rc3.

It's been two days since I've booted 2.6.38rc6 (as packaged by Debian), and I've seen no corrupted glyph (yet?). I'll close this bug report in a few days if none has appeared by then.
Comment 3 Cyril Brulebois 2011-04-03 08:07:41 UTC
No longer reproducible, closing accordingly.
