Indeed, is somewhat ironic that we have an aggregator which does not aggregate our own news. IIRC, was not this the reason why Turnip got a f.d.o account, to be able to put an WordPress engine? Note that by implementing WordPress, Inkscape went from having a news item every few days, to having only a few news items per month. Nicu: Yes... there has been a long delay in this because it took ages to get my f.d.o account sorted. I now have it, but am right in the middle of exams. As soon as I have a spare moment (in two weeks or less), I will get this sorted. Bryce: That's true, but before then you were the only person posting news, now there are six different people who have posted news. Anyway, if this is still wanted, I will certainly get to it and haven't forgotten -- sorry about the delay. Bryce: The number of news on Inkscape front page may be smaller, but it enabled some cool things, like http://create.freedesktop.org/ I've had a chance to work on this this evening cause I took a bit of a break. I can put it up as soon as we get the database (bug 3517). Finally! : ) |
