Syslog output
You are using the 3D driver. We do not accept bugs for this, yet. If you are using distro packages please report in the appropiate bugtracker. If you are using a self compiled version try building with debug flags and see if you can figure out where it breaks. Created attachment 44368 [details]
More detailed syslog
Attached a log using debug symbols. Don't worry I don't have any illusion that this will be fixed anytime soon - but I rather pass the information to you guys than file a pointless bug downstream (not that the maintainers will or could fix anything). Not using Nouveau anymore. For your information, a lot of things changed between the time you reported this bug and now. Soon-to-be-released Mesa 9.0 will be the first version where all nv30+ cards are in more or less supportable state. BTW, this bug report is pretty short in informations - no detailed logs (kernel and xserver) and even no information about card generation. If you decide to give Nouveau a chance and improve this bug report, please follow http://nouveau.freedesktop.org/wiki/Bugs Sorry, to burst your bubble, but X does not even start up with Mesa 9.0 and Nouveau. As I said, please follow the Bugs page and attach mentioned logs. |
