Open LibreWriter (whatever it's called), and insert a sound and movie file. Play it and notice the position slider having trouble repainting.

[Reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.3.2RC1  – WIN7  Home Premium  (64bit) German UI [OOO330m19 (Build:201 / tag 3.3.2.1)]"
I tried in WRITER and DRAW with a movie (win7_scenic-demoshort_raw.wtv) and a mp3 file, in all cases all sliders will show artifacts as visible in reporter's screenshot. 
Artifacts remain after I switched to an other program and back to document with media player.
I tried several modifications in the settings (with/without anti aliasing, hardware acceleration,  
My PC: 64 bit AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor 32.2 GHz, 4GB RAM, 
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GT 430

May I ask you to read  hints on <http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/BugReport> carefully?
Then please for this report:
- add information 
  -- concerning your PC (especially: video card)
  -- concerning your OS
  -- concerning your LibO version and localization
  –- Libo settings that might be related to your problems 
     (video hardware acceleration ...)
  -- everything else crossing your mind after you read a.m. URL

Generally please:
- Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every 
  mouse click how to reproduce your problem
- file Bug reports with status UNOCNFIRMED if your are not absolutely sure 
  that the problem will be reproducible with information you can provide?

It seems the problem vanished, no longer reproducible] with "LibreOffice 3.4Beta5  – WIN7  Home Premium  (64bit) German UI [DEV300m103 (Build:5)]", so WFM

Please feel free to reopen this bug if you find out that the problem still exists with the current stable LibreOffice version and if you can contribute requested additional information.
