Description Jussi Kiiveri 2011-04-23 06:36:20 UTC
Playing enemy territory causes some times system to freeze. Might happen in 30 second or take hours.

I got RS880 and kernel 2.6.39-rc4.

Happens only with mesa commits: 6067a2a67f9a7aab2aee051469bea8af03747a95 and abee17057f52a1b83ab5d7897bc9299e452b5953 (second is fix for first)

There is nothing related to freeze in kernel or xorg log.

Nope.
It still froze.

It froze once but with git up to those patches, but after I pulled more recent including this patch:
http://cgit.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/commit/?id=a3e2c8f31f0c5d8d5c1c76e33a572c7be8938573

After that I have been able to play many hours without freeze.

I will test more tomorrow and if it wont freeze this bug can be closed.

It still froze.

Many fix since then, closing reopen if it's still an issue with kernel 3.2 or newer and with mesa 8.0 or newer.
