You're not using the radeon driver, you're using the proprietary fglrx driver. X.org doesn't support that driver. Excuse me, I see where this is not driver error, but xorg error! The log file warns: [ 19.044] (WW) fglrx(0): * kernel module (fglrx.ko) may be missing or incompatible * Perhaps you need a fglrx upgrade that supports your new kernel? In any case, the stack trace at the end of the log clearly shows the crash in the closed source fglrx_drv.so, not in the code X.Org maintains or has access to. |
