I forgot to add that my GPU is: GeForce 9500 GT. [diego@myhost ~]$ lspci | grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G96 [GeForce 9500 GT] (rev a1) [diego@myhost ~]$ I also use KDE 4.6.3 with opengl desktop effects in kwin (aka compositing). Xorg version is: [diego@myhost ~]$ pacman -Q xorg-server xorg-server 1.10.1-1 [diego@myhost ~]$ My Arch Linux system is up-to-date. I will close this as I haven't experienced the problem anymore. If I experience said problem in the future I will reopen this bug or report the problem again. Thanks. |

Created attachment 46620 [details] dmesg -- kernel log My System: * Arch Linux x86-64 Problem: My system would crash randomly after using the computer for a while. After the crash the system becomes unusable and I can't switch to the TTY with <C-F1>. A hard reboot is necessary. Please see the files attached and let me know if you need anything else.
