confirmed using LibO 3.4rc1 on suse linux the behaviour in this case is "as designed" but nevertheless, it is confusing. I see two options to solve this: 1 - completely redesign the handling of gradients, hatches etc. so that a user an directly change the area definition (without the definition af an gradient / hatch template befor) 2 - make "add" the default action whenever a user changed a gradient or hatch template (and maybe assign an automatic generated name). With this, the new template will be created silently - not leaving the user in confusion @ Sasha: Thanks for the good description! @ Björn: Related to color handling interaction issues (should be the same for gradients, hatches, colors, ...). Could you have a look? [This is an automated message.] This bug was filed before the changes to Bugzilla on 2011-10-16. Thus it started right out as NEW without ever being explicitly confirmed. The bug is changed to state NEEDINFO for this reason. To move this bug from NEEDINFO back to NEW please check if the bug still persists with the 3.5.0 beta1 or beta2 prereleases. Details on how to test the 3.5.0 beta1 can be found at: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/QA/BugHunting_Session_3.5.0.-1 more detail on this bulk operation: http://nabble.documentfoundation.org/RFC-Operation-Spamzilla-tp3607474p3607474.html in LibO 3.5.0 beta 1 still exist I am not sure if this is really only an enhancement or rather an UI bug (reproducible with LO 4.1.4.2 [Win8]). @Miklós: Could this maybe be something for you? |
