Dating back as far as I've been using it (about 2 years now), I notice artifacts and misrendering when EXA is enabled (only way XRENDER is enabled with ATI).  I attached a (pretty crappy) image that shows the artifacts.  Specific places to look are the two scrollbars, text in the middle, and location box in firefox.

I filed a similar bug (#25276) back in 2009 that was closed because it only dealt with a specific issue, but this issue was and is still present.

Currently using Xorg 7.5.1 (xf86-video-ati 6.14.1) (built from ports).
